The concept of “Grameen Heritage Tourism” is to experience the beauty, simplicity and richness of Indian countryside. It also offers an opportunity to observe the traditional Indian customs, developmental efforts and the rapidly changing face of rural India.

Given the natural richness and diversity offered by the vast Indian countryside, we have designed different products to capture one or a few of these aspects.

Shekhawati – A Land of Painted Havelis and Ultra-rich Indian business families

Jaipur City – An amalgamation of Modern and the Heritage

The cultural legacy left by these families is a tourist delight. However, as is typical of most tourist places in the world, the core towns attracting tourists have become very commercial now, stripping away the natural Social / Cultural legacy and lifestyle in the wake of new businesses.

We have identified multiple villages near these core centers, which retain the basic fabric of rural lifestyle and sources of income. The guests can spend the whole day visiting the beautiful havelis and forts in Shekhavati and in the evenings retire into the cosy and peaceful environs of a small village with it’s own pace of life.

In all these programs we have attempted to provide flexibility to our guests though a host of activity options to accommodate the interest and preferences of our guests.

A Heritage Trip - 2 Days / 1 Night


Area: Katrathal, District – Sikar

Price: Rs. 2000 per person for a group of at least 2 people

Basic Services Include - Bed Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, accommodation (Twin Sharing) in comfortable guest house quality rooms at Katrathal

Day 1 - Activities
• A traditional welcome followed by an orientation with village artisans to understand and participate in craft activities like pottery, bangle work, dyeing, weaving, woodwork etc.
• A sumptuous meal in the middle of a farm - Fresh vegetables of your choice plucked from the same farm and cooked in mouth watering traditional style
• Cultural night with local village music / dance, specially organized for you followed by deliciously rich Rajasthani dinner

Day 2 - Activities
• Visiting the oldest and most revered monuments of the village • A trip through the village in a Camel Cart OR Camel / Horse Riding trip in an open area for the more adventurous travelers • Interaction with the villagers / local hosts • Departure in the evening

Not Include
• Transportation to and from Katrathal. Car bookings (AC / non-AC) can be done directly at customer cost based on specific requirements
• Any additional activity over and above mentioned in the previous section

A Journey into Rural Hinterlands - 3 Days / 2 Nights


Area: Katrathal and Nawalgarh, Sikar / Jhunjhunu

Price – Rs. 3500 per person for a group of at least 2 people

Transportation from Jaipur to Katrathal and Back in AC car

Day 1
